Holiday Light Displays in Waco

Thanks for joining us for our Second Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Now that you’ve got hot chocolate to keep you warm, roll down those windows, turn on some holiday tunes, and get ready for some fun! We’re about to take you to some of the best holiday lights displays Waco has to offer.

These neighborhoods lie between Waco Drive and Clay Avenue from 4th Street to 30th Street. Your best bet is the historic Austin Ave.

Castle Heights sits just west of Midtown. In its early days in the 1920s, Castle Heights was just a grassy hill at the end of the streetcar line, with a clear view of the Amicable building downtown. Be sure to check out Castle Avenue, Carondolet Boulevard, and Chateau Avenue.

.

There’s just one particular stop in this neighborhood you’ll want to see – and it’s located at 2737 Proctor Ave. You might even stop and get out to take it all in.

Head west on Bosque Boulevard on the south side of Highway 6, looping through streets like Estates Drive, Western Oaks Drive, and Woodland West Drive.

Head north on Bosque Boulevard until you reach North Valley Mills Drive. Turn left, and continue onto Lake Short Drive. On the western side of Lake Shore Drive, you’ll find beautiful homes overlooking Lake Waco, many with notable light displays.
